Learn more about the Council, and ways that and ways you can help get your hands on habitat with upcoming volunteer opportunities in the Crooked River Watershed.

BUILD "FAKE BEAVER DAMS" (Also known as "Beaver Dam Analogues" or "BDAs")
Project dates: October 21 and 27, 2023
Join us for one or both of two different project dates on this beaver recovery project on private lands in Post, Oregon. Beaver dams help to slow water and expand wetted areas that aid riparian tree establishment - providing food and habitat that beavers and other critters need to succeed. 

​Project dates:
> Saturday, October 21st from 8am to 5pm
> Friday, October 27th from 8am to 5pm

Activities include harvesting and transporting willow branches, weaving branches into posts and moving buckets of dirt.
